Behind The Scenes At The Bestseller AW16 Show

Behind The Scenes At The Bestseller AW16 Show

So as the winter has finally crept it’s way in, it’s time once again to change up our wardrobe’s and that also includes our makeup looks! Our pro team worked behind the scenes as Bestseller showcased it’s Autumn/ Winter collections for Noisy May , VeraModa, Pieces & Only.

We created super soft looks with emphasis on beautiful skin. To achieve this look our artists used Crème de lamer skin reparative skin tint. This particular product is great to use on the skin to give a hyperreal skin finish. It gave it a luminosity to the skin and gave a radiance from within. The skin on our “Peaches and Cream” look was the main focus but we also used tints, tones and shades of soft peach and pinks to create the look. We incorporated some powder highlights using every MUA’s go to highlighter,  MAC Strobe Cream as an base coupled with Soft & Gentle powder as the highlight finisher.

Our second look was transition from summer to autumn look.
The look on Thaila was “dishevelled  & mischievous”. To create our “Morning After a Night Out” look, I used a  black kohl eye and smudging the life out of it! ( a trick stolen from Scott Barnes Uber Hot and talented LA Celeb Makeup Artist to Jennifer Lopez and Kimmy K to name a few) I paired it with a very soft nude, Bridget Bardot 60’s effect.
The winter grunge look never seems to disappear but there’s always so many ways to play with this super fun look & get a new twist on it each time!
